Why We Started Key AI Ventures

Key AI Ventures was founded in 2021 with a simple conviction: enterprise security and cloud infrastructure represent the most durable category of technology investment. As enterprises accelerate digital transformation, the need for battle-tested security platforms and cloud-native infrastructure has never been greater.

Our founding team spent years on the operating side — building, scaling, and selling enterprise software — before transitioning to venture. That operating experience shapes every investment decision we make. We know what it takes to win enterprise customers, and we use that knowledge to help our portfolio companies do the same.
